- Beer-clean glasses are of the utmost importance when serving the PERFECT PINT.
- Dirty beer glasses with deposits of grease, lipstick, fats or rinse ad on the side of the glass will cause the beer head to collapse, resulting in the loss of flavour and poor presentation.
- A Beer-clean glass will allow the beer to retain its head, leaving rings, known as the lace, on the inside of the glass with each sip.
- The beer head, which is made up of thousands of tiny bubbles rising from the base of the glass, should be 20mm high.
